The music department in my kids' school is wonderful so I made 2 of these thank you card sets for the teachers. The box and bow I cut from my Silhouette Cameo (so easy I love it!) All of the stamps are from PTI. If you'd like to play along and check out the fabulous sets others made as well go HERE. Thanks for looking!Pennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14505225237140377408noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5146004429396136800.post-24820256602499734882013-05-10T07:15:00.001-07:002013-05-10T07:15:27.644-07:00Invitation for MIM#115

Click on the picture so see it larger. My son is having a campout for his birthday. I tried embossing on aluminum foil before and loved it. Not too sure about this one so I made another option for him to choose. I cut the invitation with my Cameo and used Just the ticket and By Invitation stamp sets. The impression plate is Cuttlebug. The camping saying is from Silhouette also. I really could have used the star embossing plate coming out from PTI later this week! Thanks to my Cameo I now have flowers I can't kill! Most of the paper used was 12X12 I had in my stash. I used it because it's thinner and cuts easier with my cutter. I got the idea from a picture I saw from last year's SU! convention. Not sure who made the original but thanks for the inspiration!

Icy out today so I'm playing hooky from work (shh don't tell!) More time for me to play with PTI's challenges. I used Dawn McVey's free Happy Birthday image. I love it! I punched it out and mounted it on a new leaf limitless layers die. It's hard to see in the pic but there are the same color green dots in the print on the DSP. Click the picture for a better view. This is a money holder I cut with my Cameo. Loving that machine! Hello and thanks for stopping by! It's The first day of PTI's 6th anniversary festivities and the challenge was to create something inspired by one of the design team's favorite projects. I chose Melissa Phillips project shown here. I used tea for two and additions to make my own DSP but chose colors to match my kitchen. Thanks for visiting!
This is my entry for Papertrey's first day anniversary celebration. I was inspired by the fence on Debbie Olsen's card Here. Thanks so much to the Papertrey design team, they are all such a great inspiration to me and make me want to buy PTI's products month after month! I'm also entering this for the Paper Players challenge Here. Their challenge was to use a flower.
Yay I finished the boxes for all of the tags I made. I'm going on a stamping weekend at a local B&B in a couple of weeks so a few of them are for the friends that are going and one for the owner of the Inn. I LOVE the new loopsy daisy die (obviously!) It worked perfectly for the top of my box. I'm going to give one of these away as my first blog candy along with some other craft goodies including some new copic markers, some DSP from PTI and SU, a butterfly punch from SU (I accidentally bought 2...duh!), last year's anniversary set from PTI and whatever else I may find in my stash. To win please do the following:

1. Leave a comment here. One comment per person please.
2. Become a follower (click on icon on right side).
3. If you have a blog please add this blog candy to one of your posts
linking it back here.

I'll leave the comments open until January 31st and I'll pick a winner. There's no way I can list everything I used but all of the info for the tags is in my previous posts. Any other questions just ask in the comment section. Made ten of these for Winter's Card drive HERE. She's sending them to four different hospitals (as of right now). I don't have many Valentine stamps and since I made ten I wanted to keep it simple. They are supposed to be for any age and gender. I know pink is feminine but I couldn't help it, pink says Valentine's Day to me :) Check out her post and send some of your own if you're able to. Thanks for stopping by!
Three more tags for my set. Almost done so I guess I'll have to tackle making the box for them soon. I'm looking forward to it but at the same time it will be frustrating. I want to challenge myself though. The more I do that that easier it will get the next time. Hoping that what it looks like in my mind will be just as nice in real life. Thanks for looking!
Happy Sunday! Saw the sketch challenge yesterday for Just Us Girls and knew I wanted to make a card for it. A friend of mine asked me to make a Valentine's card for his wife. This set just came in the mail yesterday and I love it! I will definitely have to make another tag out of that big flower. The sketch was an oval but this is the only die I had that would fit the flower so I hope that's ok. I'm also submitting it for PTI's MIM #47 which was a rewind of all of the previous year's challenges. I used the challenge from week 2 using the vellum strip. The third challenge is the Paper Players #77 which is a Love challenge. I still need some work on my photography and photo editing skills! Thanks for stopping by :-)
Back today with tags 3 and 4 in what was originally going to be a set of eight but I just ordered the new Rosey Posey set from PTI so it will probably end up being at least 10 now :-) I need different lightbulbs or something to take pics with, this looks so yellow. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be pleased for any help in that area!
I've had the name saved for quite some time. I decided on it because my last name is Peters and I've always had people make jokes about it. The company I work for used to be called Peco Powerlabs. I had to answer the phone "Peco Powerlabs, Penny Peters may I help you"? After that was laughed at a few times I would leave my name off. Then one day I realized I was Penny Peters from Parkesburg Pennsylvania and I worked at Peco Powerlabs. My kids like to say it and laugh. The papercraft blogging world is so friendly and inspirational so I wanted to join in! I hope someday I can inspire someone as well.

Papertreyink is one of my favorite companies and this Monday they're make it M0nday challenge is a rewind of the entire year's challenges.
